The fortnight of offerings to ancestors. It opens on the full moon of Bhadrapada and closes on the new moon that follows — Sarva Pitru Amavasya, the last day, when shraddha is offered for anyone whose tithi is unknown. Each day below is the day its tithi rules aparahna, the fourth of the five equal parts of daylight, which is when shraddha is kept. The fortnight ends the day before Ghatasthapana, which is why Navratri always follows it immediately.

All times are IST, computed for Ujjain. A tithi or nakshatra turns at the same instant everywhere, so your timezone changes only the clock it reads — but a window bounded by the weekday also follows your own sunrise. The app computes both for your city.
