Vaidhriti is the twenty-seventh and last of the nitya yogas, and the companion of Vyatipata: the two are named together as the yogas to avoid for a new undertaking, and the same hours are counted fit for japa and for rites offered to the ancestors. Being a yoga rather than a tithi, it is a span within the day and not the day itself. It comes round about once a lunar month.

All times are IST, computed for Ujjain. A tithi or nakshatra turns at the same instant everywhere, so your timezone changes only the clock it reads — but a window bounded by the weekday also follows your own sunrise. The app computes both for your city.
