Gand Mool 2029

Gand Mool is the Moon in one of the six junction nakshatras — Ashwini, Ashlesha, Magha, Jyeshtha, Mula and Revati — those that sit where a rashi or a nakshatra-lord cycle changes hands. A birth during it traditionally calls for a shanti once the Moon has left, and new undertakings are deferred. It recurs several times a month, each spell lasting about as long as a nakshatra does — roughly a day.

Avoided for weddings and other new undertakings

All times are IST, computed for Ujjain. A tithi or nakshatra turns at the same instant everywhere, so your timezone changes only the clock it reads — but a window bounded by the weekday also follows your own sunrise. The app computes both for your city.
